The Soto Norte Project is committed to socio-environmental sustainability, mining tradition, technical innovation for mining done right, and the economic progress of Santander.

The Soto Norte Project will be a benchmark in sustainable mining design, operating outside the boundaries of the Páramo. It will be located in the municipality of California (Santander, Colombia), a territory with more than 450 years of mining tradition.

The Soto Norte Project will promote and support the formalization of more than 400 traditional miners. These miners will have the opportunity to work legally, safely, and responsibly using methods to protect their economies, their families' livelihoods, and the environment.
